Philippa is from a pristine middle class family, her father is a vicar and mother is a house wife.  She never rebelled through life and was excited to meet Jack who had a glint of roguishness about him.  He seduced her with his Le Crosse physique and talk of the stars.  After University, Jack’s descent into normality left her cold and she longed for a whisper of a thrill.  When Eddie came along she was put off by his arrogance, but as motherhood set in she started to crave his unwavering adoration and his flirtatious fingers.  Being with Eddie is the rebellion she’s always craved and for the first time she’s thinking with her heart and not her head.

 Jack’s strange and distracted behaviour has her concerned and until he shows signs of stability, she is unwilling to allow joint custody of Chris.
